We are writing to inform you of an important change to our service offerings. Effective immediately, we have decided to discontinue our Spotify-related services. This decision comes after careful consideration, and we want to be transparent about the reasons behind it.
Spotify operates under a monetization scheme where all streams count towards royalty earnings for artists. We have recently become aware of media reports that have highlighted individuals artificially inflating their streams specifically on Spotify with the primary goal of generating unfair royalty income, rather than solely for legitimate marketing purposes.
While our services were designed for genuine marketing purposes and, according to our supplier, involved real users primarily from the United States, we recognize that the line between Spotify promotion and stream manipulation has become increasingly complex. Our commitment has always been to support genuine promotion efforts for our customers.
Additionally, our Spotify services represented only a very small fraction of our total sales. Thus, while we could have kept offering Spotify followers and similar services, removing only Spotify plays based on the concerns mentioned above, or kept all of our Spotify services due to how they were sourced, SMM-World has ultimately decided to discontinue all Spotify-related services. This decision allows us to focus on areas where we can make the most positive contribution to our customers, including aspiring influencers and content creators.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. SMM-World remains dedicated to delivering exceptional services across our other product categories. We are here to support you with any questions or concerns you may have and to help you explore alternative solutions to achieve your marketing goals effectively and ethically.
